Data Deletion

Text Resurrect ยท Effective October 21, 2026

Your Text Resurrect history is stored only on your Android phone. The app has no online account to close and does not send your history to us, so you delete it on your phone.

Delete individual entries

Open Text Resurrect, open an entry in your saved history, and choose Delete segment. This works for kept entries too.

Delete all saved entries

Open Text Resurrect and choose Delete all saved segments, then confirm. This removes every saved entry, including kept entries. Your settings and excluded-app list remain.

Delete all local app data

This removes saved history, kept entries, settings, the excluded-app list, and crash details. Clearing cache alone is not enough. Uninstalling the app also removes this data. Menu names vary by phone.

Automatic removal

Ordinary entries expire after the period you choose (1 hour, 24 hours by default, or 7 days) and are removed the next time the app or keyboard runs. Kept entries do not expire; delete them yourself when you no longer need them.

Stop saving new writing

Turn saving off or pause it in Text Resurrect, exclude specific apps from the keyboard, or select a different keyboard in Android settings. These do not erase history that is already saved.

Crash details

If the app recorded a crash note, choose Clear crash details in the app. Crash notes contain no typed text.

Copies outside the app

Text you copied or shared is held by the clipboard or the app you shared it with. Delete those copies there. Text Resurrect's data is excluded from Android backup and device transfer.

Online accounts

Text Resurrect has no developer-hosted account or cloud history. If accounts or cloud storage are added, this page will be updated with a working account and cloud-data deletion process before those features launch.
